Charlie is such a different dog than I have ever had. If I have to travel for work, he will patiently wait for me on the back porch. Its all the kids can do to get him to come in at night. His heart is as big as the universe. Charlie knows exactly who is coming in the back door, you can tell when his nose twitches and he cocks his head from one side to the other to listen to the footsteps. If I speak loudly at my children, he sits there like he knows what I am saying and watches. If we could only read his mind, we might be amazed at what he is or was thinking.
