Back in 2005, I had moved to a new house, and right before Thanksgiving I lost my dog, Ms. Bea, I had for the past 4 years. I cried for 2 weeks straight and I continued to look for her but once a month hit I knew there was no hope. Right before Christmas I was reading the Yakima Herald and saw an advertisement for a puppy, half Shitzu/half Miniature Daschund; that is how I got Charlie, he was just a little fur ball. But he has turned out to my best friend and confidant. In the last year I have gone through some really rough times with family and finances; it was nice to have "someone" to talk to that would just listen intently and look at me like he really cared about what I was saying. He has the biggest brown eyes, and a way of telling me, it will be ok, I am here. He can tell when I am sick, and will sleep next to me the whole day without moving as long as I do not move. Charlie really has been a blessing that has came into my life, I certainly do not know what I would do with out him.
