Monte is a cocker spaniel who just showed up on our doorstep one day. My husband yells for me to come and look at the puppy on our back door. I couldn't believe it! The first thing my husband says is that we are keeping him! I walked the entire neighborhood and no one knew anything about this doll. The only news I found was a few neighbors noticed someone dumping a litter of black puppies over a 1/2 mile away from our home.
I had recently lost a pet of 14 years and wasn't emotionally ready for another. I had everyone tell me, "If you dedide not to keep him, please let me know and I will gladly take him." I feel awful that I even doubted whether he would be mine. I don't know how he came to be at our back door, but we believe he is a total godsend. Monte was made just for us. He needed us and God knew we needed him!
The first day we found Monte. We guess he was barely 6 weeks old.
