Joe came to us through a friend who found him abandoned with his brother. Very similar to Marley from the book "Marly and Me", he managed to chew up an entire living room set, various yard equipment and more things than my wife and I can remember. After the terrible two's Joe magically stopped chewing everything up and became this wonderful loving dog which is a good thing since he weighed in at 120 lbs. HE IS BIG but he is a nice as he is big. Unfortunatley when he was about 4 years old he developed a liver condition and almost died. We worked very closely with Yakima Vet, Dr Sandi assured us there was hope. He hadn't eaten in 10 days and it was finally decided that we would take him to WSU where he received treatment for his unknown liver issue. After two trips to WSU and a whole lot of prayer and work we managed to get Joe back on his feet and he has been going strong for about 3 years now. Joe had a rough start, he was abandoned and injured when he found his way to us and it made us sick to think he would be short changed on what was a wonderful life with me and my wife. Joe enjoys all the comforts of home including our king size bed which he is willing to share with us every night. We really should have named him "Lucky" but we are the lucky ones to have such a wonderful dog to share our lives with.
I should have been named "Lucky"

Oh my where do I start with Joe? He is the sweetest dog in the world and I agree he has put Rob and T through many "challenges" but in the end he has been the best thing that has came into their lives. He is a wonderful dog.

My grandbabies love to get a big smooch from Joe when they visit! He is taller than they are and they can't resist trying to 'ride' him. He bugs Rob to walk him by our Mom's house every night too, to check on her! He is soooo loving!

Joe rocks!! He is the biggest dog with a big bark, but is a loving big softie!!

Tommy is so jealous that Joe is getting so much attention!!!! He say that is is the good son !I don't chew up my toys or furniture? Where is my picture?????

Joe is a wonderful dog. He may be big but he is a real softie. He is a lucky dog to have such good parents too.

Wow, Joe seems like such a great dog. I hope he has many many more years. Every dog deserves a loving, forgiving home.

my friends Rob & T know I am not a dog person, but believe me when I say Joe is an AWESOME dog...he got the family he deserves:)

Thank God that joe has good parents. I just wish that everyone would take care of there animals the way ya'll have Joe. It really take special people to love animals the way they need to be loved.

Oh, that's sad. I'm glad he made it. He is lucky to have owners who take good care of him.

Thank you for being such loving and caring parents to Joe. It is wonderful to know there are people like you two..

I will agree to every word written here about Joe. When we lived across the street from Joe and his owners:) he would run across the street into our garage into the house and give my wife a big doggie kiss and run back home. He's a big loving dog!
