Sunday morning at 1PM a small plume was seen comming from the direction of Mount Saint Helens causing several neibors to get very anxious. One started to gather all important papers, another gathered her animals near to the corral. After researching the live cam at Mt. St. Helens it was determined that the Mt. had not blown it's top again and some of the fears were extinguished.
When it was known at 3Pm that it was a big fire the tension began to rise again. Funny how the imagination makes things to be worse than they are.
Ahtanum Ridge View of Plume from Mt. Adams area fire. Multiple photos stiched.
Memories of St. Helens but not.
