Legends Casino Fireworks Cancelled

Just as everyone in the enormous crowd gets excited to see fifteen minutes worth of the annual Yakama Nation Legends Casino Fireworks, Toppenish, WA, the pyrotechnic show suddenly stops. Around 10:24pm, the official man on the mic says "Hope you enjoy the show, we are going to have to stop because of the fire and the wind". During the show, it was evident to see one of the fireworks had set off the fire in a nearby field. There were many spectators parked on and off the Casino grounds who witnessed the once small flame to become somewhat uncontrolled wildfire. By the end of the night, there was major traffic jam on Fort Road and the fire was immediately doused by the Toppenish Fire Department.
