What Happened to Spring?

I awoke this morning to see these unique, beautiful 'pictures' on the alfalfa field next door. There was a Robin on the post in my yard so I snapped his photo as well. When I posted the photos to the computer, I saw that Mr. Robin was wearing something very unusual for a red breasted Spring bird. He apparently flew close enough to the frozen spray to develop a new coat!
