On Saturday, March 1st, 2008 there was a Slab ORV Area Clean-up that was hosted by the Dust Dodgers Motorcycle & ATV Club. The All Wheelers Off Road Club and members of the Eastern Washington Off road foum came out to help.

They met up in the parking area around 10 AM and started the clean-up there. The group branched out to clean the whole area. They worked until 3 PM and had most of the bigger stuff picked up and hauled to the dump. There was a lot of stuff there because illegal dumping.
