The Washington Civil War Association (WCWA.net)held a school program at Fort Simcoe on May 4. Bruce Frazier highlighted some of Fort Simcoe's history. He also described life for soldiers in the Civil War. Students were able to see tools and guns common during the Civil War. They also played with toys similar to what children during the 18060s--cloth ball, marbles, and toys made out of wood.
