Yaktown's Finest is closing its doors

Yaktown's Finest Barbershop will be closing its doors after 12years of business here in Yakima. The shop first opened on the corner of 16th and Tieton by 20 year old Micahn Carter. At the time there weren't any young barbers in town. Over the years many other barbershops have opened up many barbers of which first worked at Yaktown's Finest or got there hair cut there. Micahn is now the Senior Pastor of MorningStar Church and is passsing the baton to another barber that has worked for him for 8 years. Yaktown's Finest has always been "more than just a barbershop" many lives have been changed over the years from conversations in the shop. It was never about the haircut, but all about building the life of the person in the chair. Micahn's last day cutting at the shop is today, and the shop closes tomorrow. Here is a link to a short video the guys made about the shop.
