It was quite a process to watch one of the frequent lenticular clouds form over the mountain, and then in the next 45 minutes or so move intact (with its own lenticular) to the south as the sun was setting. I regret now that I didn't take photos of the whole process. That was the first time in the 15 years we have lived here that we have seen that phenomenon.
