FUNDRAISER - Baby Ridge Hansen

Baby Ridge was born to Erin and Cole Hansen of Yakima on October 12th at Yakima Memorial. He was 6 weeks premature but otherwise seemed to be healthy. After spending 8 days in NICU he was emergency airlifted to Children’s hospital in Seattle where he was diagnosed with Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) which means the tissue in his colon and intestines was dying. He has since undergone 2 surgeries, the last to remove all but 10cm of his small intestine and half of his colon. He is also suffering from severe jaundice and is showing signs of liver damage. While the surgery has been a success and his vitals are improving, Baby Ridge has a long road of recovery ahead of him, including more surgeries and a probable 5 month stay in the hospital. Erin and Cole were able to get a room at Ronald McDonald house, but there are so many things to consider for this new Mom and Dad.

Here is the information for the fundraiser:
Abby’s Legendary Pizza on 48th and Tieton Drive will be hosting a fundraiser for baby Ridge, Erin and Cole this coming Wednesday, October 27th starting at 4:00 p.m. until closing. 20% of ALL sales will be going to the Hansen family, and there will also be a way to give a separate donation if you wish, of which 100% will go to them. So PLEASE mark your calendars and come and show your support! If you can’t make it in that night for dinner, order out! They deliver, and those sales are included, too. If it doesn't work out for you to come in on Wednesday between 4:00pm and 10:00pm, come in ANYTIME that day! When you place your order, just tell them that you are in on behalf of baby Ridge, and they will allocate 20% of your purchase to the Hansens. 20% of all orders made after 4:00 will automatically go into their fund.

There has also been a donation site set up for this family and a facebook page for updates, here are the links:
