YAKIMA, Wash.-- A late night shooting leaves YPD officers with questions they don't know if they will ever get answered.
According to a Yakima Police Department press release, YPD was called to a home on the 1300 block of Garfield Avenue at 11:05 Wednesday evening following reports of hearing shots fired. Officers found the gunshot victim, an intoxicated 28-year-old hispanic male.
He suffered a gunshot wound to his right forearm and was transported to the hospital after being treated by paramedics.
According to YPD Capt. Rod Light, the victim is not giving any information. It could be self-inflicted or gang related, but YPD might never know, he said.
