YAKIMA, Wash. -- KIMA continues to follow the effort to develop Yakima's old mill site.
City council will be asked Tuesday night to pay for an environmental study.
The two-phase process will evaluate the 200-acre property and identify what needs to be done before any work can begin on the old landfill and industrial site.
The first phase is expected to cost taxpayers more than $200,000. The second phase could begin this Fall.
