YAKIMA, Wash. -- KIMA looked into your concerns about a new bridge in the heart of the East Valley school zone.

Drivers complain the high arch makes it hard to see who's on the other side.

Yakima County just finished building the bridge.

Action News kept you up-to-date all summer on the traffic changes.

Now parents worry those changes might be dangerous.

"When we pull out of the parking lot to go over the bridge you can not see oncoming traffic. You end up pulling out in front of somebody before you see them coming," said a concerned mother.

The county told us the low speed limit allows drivers to safely cross the bridge, despite the arch.

They say perfect visibility is almost impossible on any road. However, they will listen to any concerns or complaints drivers have about the issue.
