Naches Valley state champion boys shave heads for coach's daughter
NACHES, Wash. -- Big kudos to the Naches Valley High School boys baseball team, who brought home the state championship trophy this weekend.

The boys defeated Woodland High School on Saturday.

They're now sporting shaved heads in support of Coach Bill Walker's daughter. Carly was diagnosed with cancer early in the season. The players promised to shave their heads if they made it to the end.

A team outfielder said being part of the Rangers is being part of a family.

"We care about each other, and we're here to support each other no matter what happens," said Colbey Molner.

The ceremony was part of Naches Valley High School's Senior Day celebrations.
