The great folks who run the Yakima Bears are all about making a visit to County Stadium a memorable family experience.

Running the team is also very much a family affair.

Bears bobblehead night......huge promotion....so popular......minus the bobble heading guy part. Boomer souveniers, the kind of giveaway and discount deals to games that bring valley families to the park.

Fan participation, a major part of minor league baseball at the Bears' level. The guy in charge of making sure the promotions, and games and between inning entertainment rolls out as smoothly as it does.....team assistant general manager Aaron Arndt. Like, Yakima Bears owners the McMurray's, and general manager KL Wombacher and his wife, office manager Lauren, Aaron is also half of a couple working for this franchise. Wife Linda, running the first base side beer concessions. Arron and Linda, knew each other during their high school years here in the valley. Remet through their jobs with the Bears.

Linda Arndt "who works harder out here, you or your husband? My husband by far. This is easy. I don't want to call it work."

Aaron Arndt "I asked your wife who works harder out here, you or her. What do you think she said? As a recently newlywed husband, I'm going to have to say my wife. She said you work harder. The honeymoon's still going."
