So many Bears have blasted off and made it huge in the Bigs.
Including one of our all time favorites around here Dan Uggla.
But, this may have been a major league all star game last night that will haunt Dan forever. A nightmare 10th inning for the one time Yakima Bears star. Now, doing it for the Florida Marlins, but, he couldn't do anything right in this frame. Hitting into a double - play. Then, unable to come up with a couple of grounders on the defensive side against the American League. In all, Uggla charged with three errors, most ever for any player in any All Star game. We know Dan will have a lot better nights.......and shine brighter in future all star games......and, maybe......as he distinguished himself in Yakima......even some day be honored as a big league bobblehead star.
