Trying to save the Big 9

One more chance to save the Big Nine as we know it.

Rockin the Pirate Ship. KIMA there for this weekend's bball border war. Davis and Ike. Getting after it. Cadets hanging in for three quarters. But, the 2nd ranked Pirates did what they do, turning it on in spectacular fashion to finish this year's sweep of Eisenhower. Fuel to a feud that will live on between these two rivals. But, what league will they be playing in next year. Columbia Basin school superintendents, athletic directors and WIAA reps will gather again in Yakima tomorrow.....with one final shot at coming to an agreement between the proposed 7 Tri-City south division schools....and the 7 in the north including Ike, Davis and Sunnyside....with West Valley no longer a factor deciding to play at the 2A level next year.

Paul Stephens Create some schedules this work for everybody hopefuly everybody agrees to it. If not, it looks like we might split leagues. Hopefully we can work to save the league. You feel it's fair right what's being proposed? Ya, it's fair. It's equal geographywise. And, classificationwise for all schools. Optimistic? We'll find out, ok."
