YVCC rolls over Wenatchee
YVCC soccer. Another dominating win.
But, maybe not the match Yakima needed to tune up for the next mighty task ahead.
This one might have been too easy for the Yaks. A soccer assault on visiting Wenatchee. Brianna Marras' shot stopped. But, the overwhelming majority of Yakima Valley's efforts successful. Katy Allen out of Ike across to Suzy Jimenez...kicking it home 9-1 Yaks in the second half. Not even close to done. Ahead to Katy beating the defenders...banging it top shelf 10-1. Push ahead to Magaly Carillo.....goal. Earning the hugs and high fives. And, this picture perfect....to cap off the scoring...Sunnyside's Michelle Galvan to Magaly on the gallup......No problem 12-1 W for YVCC in a fierce battle for the third conference playoff spot with 3 to go......but, knocking out the overmatched Knights probably not the best test of talent to gear up for a visit Saturday from the best community college team in the state...undefeated Walla Walla.
