Four on Four Hockey Frenzy in Yakima

They play it.....they support it.
They work their tails off keeping the only sports facility of its kind in this area from dying.

Fast and furious....giving it all they've got....one more time as the hockey season winds down. The annual coed four on four spring tournament at the Ice Rink in Yakima. . The Brew Crew from the Tri-Cities in Red.....taking on Yakima One.....seven teams in all from around the state here for this weekend full of hot ice action.
Are you having fun? Having a great time.
A great time on the only sheet of ice anywhere close to Yakima. This local house of hockey has only survived because of the countless hours of volunteer effort put in by some of the same folks skating in the white sweaters.
Chris Southerland Hockey's actually been really good this year. Our kids program has grown quite a bit. And, our adult program has stayed pretty steady. We've got teams from all over southereastern and central Washington here this weekend. Been a good year. You guys will be back next year? Oh certainly."
Hockey team. Say something profound. We need a new rink. Bring it on."
