Off and pounding the turf this weekend at beautiful irene rhinehart park in Ellensburg. Cwac district cross country. Boys side dominated by ellensburg, first two runners bulldogs, matt nodine and kevin aubol, selah's james cureell third. Eburg, selah, east valley in the team scores, prosser tenth.
Girls cwac, ellensburg first, followed by selah and toppenish, the mustangs from prosser sixth.
Girls scac zillah, highland, kibe, one, two three. 3a girls, hanford wins it, west valley second. 4a richland, number two, davis right behind third.
Back to the boys 4a's ike outhurdling most of the field to finish 2nd, richland 5th. 3a guys southridge, number three. Sunnyside placing sixth. And south central boys division won by royal. Ki be in second, zillah third. Next week, the big state x country meet in pasco.
