Wounded Warrior Softball heroes coming to the northwest

Wounded Warrior Softball heroes coming to the northwest
Big tip of the KIMA Sports Cap to Yakima native Nick Clark.

He plays for the famous Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team.

The prestigous squad's been traveling the U-S for more than two years now.

these brave men perform their impressive magic on the Diamond.
The Wounded Warriors will be competing for the first time in the Northwest this holiday weekend.
A two day stop in Tacoma and Seattle.
Yakima's Nick Clark, a brave soldier who lost a leg in Afghanistan. Determined not to keep him down, just two months later Nick was fitted with a prosthesis....and was walking....and soon back on a skateboard, playing disc golf, baseball and softball. Now living in Puyallup, Nick played a key role in bringing these cool guys to our part of the country Labor Day Weekend.
Way to go Nick. And, thank you Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team. You guys are the greatest!
