Wildcats survive a nailbiter!
After cruising along on a perfect, cool autum afternoon in Kittitas County......on its way to clobbering western oregon in front of the home folks, central decided....that just wasn't exciting enough. Watching their 21 point lead over the wolves disappear. And, look out, late in 4th quarter...CWU actually trailed by a field goal until senior quarterback Ryan Robertson connected with Anthony Spain, hauling in the winning passc, flat on his back ........Cats survive to improve to 6 -3 and regain a share of first place in the gnac standings with Humbolt State.

Ryan Robertson '"We went in at half time. I think we got a little lacksadaisacle out there. Offense wasn't doing much. Put our defense in a hole. Thank god we came out with a win at the end of the day."

Blaine Bennett "Really exciting how we finished up that game. Neat to have that offense take the field, down by three points and go down and score in a critical situation. We haven't done that very successfully this year."

The year can end very successfully this coming saturday at tomlinson stadium in a high noon showdown against dixie state. the wildcats with a shot at finishing as co conference title holders ....or even once again stand alone as the gnac champion.
