Selah senior Avery Miller a varsity goal keeper for the Vikings his freshman year. Since then playing for Redmond's Crossfire Academy. A prestigous national touring soccer program. Avery's steller play in net earning him notice from a number of top colleges in the country. Today, Avery signing on to keep at SMU in Dallas.
Avery Miller "When I went to Southern Methodist, nice campus. Great academics. Really liked the coaches. And athletic facilities."
Avery recently attended the U-18 US National Camp at Nike World headquarters as one of the top 64 players in America.
With a bright future in business and law, Avery's maintained a 3.5 grade point average while commuting between Selah and Crossfire Academy on the west side.
Avery Miller "We were driving back and forth to Seattle three or four times a week. It was kind of hectic. Getting into the homework thing stuff l ike that. But, once you do it enough you get used to it. Just a regular day for me. Regular long day. But, it's been worth it right? Ya, for sure."
