LOS ANGELES, Cali. - Seahawks' quarterback Russell Wilson and the spirit of the 12th Man won awards at Nickelodeon's inaugural Kids' Choice Sports Awards at UCLA's Pauley Pavillion on Thursday.

Fresh off the 2014 ESPYS red carpet, Wilson won "Best Newcomer," after leading the Hawks to a 43-8 Superbowl win against the Broncos in February.

The 12s were pitted against fans of the Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Detroit Red Wings to win the "Smells Like Teen Spirit" award for being the best sports fans.

Running back Marshawn Lynch was one of the show's guest presenters and delighted fans after being slimed upon entrance. Lynch was nominated for "Clutch Player of the Year," but lost to New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony.

It wouldn't be a Nickelodeon award show without a tank filled with neon slime. Free safety Earl Thomas found himself swimming in green slime after competing against Arizona Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald to see who could hit the slime tank's bulls-eye target first.

The players were in great spirits throughout the show, and flooded social media accounts with festive photos and green-faced smiles. Check out snapshots below:
