This is what the true holiday spirit is all about.

A room full of pictures and memories and supporters of the Parker youth and sports foundation celebrating the charitable organizations new offices high atop the beautiful Larson Building in Downtown Yakima. Parker Youth in its sixth year, dedicated to the support and preservation of parks, sports facilities and athletic programs in our area......and coming through again. In these tough economic times, a big ho ho ho, president jerry ward today handing out four figure grants to Yakima Greenway, White Swan Arts and Rec for a skateboard park....to the Madison House soccer program.....and, then 9 more checks for 200 dollars to Yakima youth soccer, east valley elite wrestling. Yakima police athletici league, yvcc softball casscade vvolleyball team yakima volleyball, west valley little league, first tee of yakima and to yakima rotary for a franklin park playground project.

Jerry Ward "To help kids who can't afford to participate. It costs money now to be a part of a soccer team, a volleyball team, a baseball team. So, what we've initiated out of our proactive account is these small donations that we hope will be used for that purpose."
