By Keith Leventhal

The Yakima Bears are just a few days away from playing their first game of the year.

While the team still doesn't have their full roster, a few players are already making the trip to town.

Monday, we told you that the Bears should have 35th overall pick Matt Davidson on their roster.

It also looks like the team will pick up Arizona's 14th round pick from this year.

Shortstop Brent Greer has signed with the Diamondbacks, and he's expected to start his pro career in town.

Greer is coming off of a record-breaking season at Western Carolina.

He set a school record for hits in a season, while hitting .420 with a career-high 8 home runs.

As for the rest of the Bears players...the team hopes to have a roster on Wednesday.
