Central Wins Battle In Seattle, Boise St. Stays Perfect
By Keith Leventhal
Even though Washington State and Washington are both having horrible seasons, that doesn't mean that our state is missing good college football teams.
In fact, the best team in the state could be Central Washington. The Wildcats have only lost once this year, and that was on a last-second field goal. On Saturday night, they played a huge game on the west side...it was Central versus Western in the 6th annual Battle in Seattle. Central’s Mike Reilly would throw for 371 yards and 4 TDs. And Central wins their 4th straight Battle in Seattle...this year, they get the 50-28 win over Western. And, while we're talking about college football, let's not forget Boise State...they were at Southern Miss on Saturday. And, surprise, surprise...it was the Kellen Moore show. Moore goes 21-for-30 for 170 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception...and Boise State goes to 5-0 as they beat Southern Miss 24-7. |
