Its been a long, long summer for basketball fans in Washington.

After the worst season in franchise history, the Seattle Supersonics actually made things even worse by packing up and heading to Oklahoma City.

So, now that your team is 2000 miles away, it may feel like you'll never see them again.

But wait...you'll get your chance in about 6 months.

The NBA released its 2008-2009 schedule on Wednesday...and the Oklahoma City whatevers will make 2 trips to the Pacific Northwest.

The team will play in Portland on February 11th, then again on April 13th.

As for our new, quote, local team...the Portland Trailblazers open their season on October 28th with a road game at the Lakers.

And Portland's home opener will come 3 days later when they host the Spurs.
