ELLENSBURG – Dreams of a homecoming win and revenge against #19 Humboldt State never emerged for Central Washington. The Wildcats fell to the Jacks 30-20 on Saturday.

Ryan Robertson led the Wildcats to the first score of the game with a touchdown pass to Anthony Spain. The Jacks and Cats stayed close after one half, with the score 16-14.

A pivotal moment came in the third quarter when Central's Levi Taylor fumbled the football and Humboldt State recovered it. A few plays later Lynden Rowells ripped off a huge touchdown run to extend the lead and basically clinch the win for the Jacks.

Central doesn’t have to look much further than their defense if they want to point fingers. The Cats surrendered 512 yards of total offense to Humboldt State.
