Central Gets Revenge on Western Oregon
ELLENSBURG – The Wildcats take revenge on the Wolves on Saturday and do it in convincing fashion with a 41-10 win.

Central scored the first touchdown of the game, only to have Western respond with a field goal. However, after the Wolves scored it sparked a 34-0 scoring run by the Wildcats.

The play of the game came right before halftime. Defensive back Genesis Fonoimoana picked off Western’s quarterback Corey vonAppen and returned it 41 yards for the Wildcat touchdown.

On offense, Levi Taylor led the ground game for another week as he ran for 116 yards on 29 carries with three visits to the endzone.

The win is just the second of the year for Central, and it moves their record to 2-3 on the year.
