This spring, the Cougars and Huskies are battling each other to stay out of the basement.
Washington avoided a sweep by the Crimson and Grey with a win Sunday in Pullman.
But, WSU took two out of three to capture the series. Rare league wins for both clubs this spring.
Wazzu 5-13 in conference play, the Dawgs just 4-11.
The Cougs 9th in the Pac 10 standings, the U-Dub sitting in the cellar.
