Richland and West Valley Take Big 9 Volleyball Tournaments

RICHLAND - This year has been all Bombers in Big 9 4A volleyball. The team took the Big 9 regular season title, and added a district tournament championship to that on Saturday.
The Bombers faced Wenatchee in the final match and made quick work of the Panthers with a 3-0 victory.
In Big 9 4A, Wenatchee and Moses Lake will join Richland as participants in the regional tournament.
On the 3A side it was a similar story for West Valley. They came into Saturday as the regular season champions, and finished it off at home taking the tournament championship.
The Rams took on the Suns in the final, and the home court advantage definitely came in handy. West Valley handled Southridge in three staight games.
In Big 9 3A, Southridge, Kamiakin, and Kennewick will join West Valley as participants in the regional tournament.
