POWs Ring Returns
In this Friday, Aug. 16, 2013 photo taken in Raleigh, N.C., David Cox Jr. holds a pair of gold aviator rings, one of which is a replica, right, of the original ring, left, that belonged to his father, U.S. Army Air Corps 2nd Lt. David C. Cox who traded the ring for a couple of chocolate bars while he was imprisoned in a German prisoner of war camp during World War II. The ring was returned by a German couple through some investigative help from an American neighbor. (AP Photo/Gerry Broome)
