YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima police said they made more than a dozen arrests from recent DUI patrols. Yakima Police conducted four operations over the last month and nabbed 16 drivers. Officers made eleven DUI arrests last weekend alone. They said they typically make two to three DUI arrests on a normal weekend night. Yakima spends almost $17,000 dollars on the drunk driving emphasis every year.
"Those people that are just out going about their business could be hit by an impaired driver causing the holiday season to be one that they remember for the wrong reasons," said Yakima Police Sergeant, Shawn Boyle.
Yakima Police had seven DUI patrols last year and made 35 arrests during the holidays.

Not only that, but a half dozen other skinheads began showing up at the transit. One would get on behind me and never was going anywhere. It's bizarre to see a half dozen young, bald guys in one place. One was dressed as a Mormon missionary. I began flipping him the bird, too. He then began to try to set me up acting innocent with Christian witnesses watching. This Boyle character is the "under the influence" expert in Yakima. But this "right up to a woman's breast" sniffing seems out of line when you are just going out shopping.Â
This Boyle guy is a little bit weird. I've had four cars destroyed so I'm stuck with the buses. A few months ago I saw him there and he appeared to be running around sniffing people. He came up on my left just out of my peripheal and began sniffing me from head to hip. His inquiring nose got about within an inch of my breast and you truly felt sexually molested. He then began showing up where I shopped. Since he was in plain car, I had fun flipping him the bird.Â
