YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima said traffic signs getting vandalized is a big problem. It spent nearly $20,000 to replace signs this year. Last year, it spent $30,000.

Yakima said it has less manpower to fix the signs than it did last year. Crews said it's difficult to clean the signs with graffiti so they're usually replaced.
