Yakima reaches wage deal with city employees
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima reached a four-year deal with city employees on wages and benefits.

The agreement gives employees a 2.5 percent pay raise each year through 2017. Employees will also get lump sum payments.

The deal does not include the city manager, municipal court workers, or the police and fire departments.

City Council is expected to approve it in early January.
