Yakima marathoners back home safe
YAKIMA, Wash. -- A Yakima woman who was near the explosions is back safe at home Tuesday. Kristelle Harrington got in late last night.

She finished the marathon and was cooling down when she heard the explosions and saw people running. She describes the attack as surreal.

Kristelle says while she was close to the action, it really sunk in when she turned on the TV.

"We watched some of it this morning," said Kristelle. "I was already emotional having finished the Boston Marathon. So, watching the coverage, it was a pretty emotional day for me."

Kristelle was one of at least eight marathoners from the Yakima area in Boston. Not all of them are home -- but all are safe.
