Yakima fans celebrate U.S. soccer team advancing in World Cup
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima fans celebrated the U.S. soccer team's advancement in the World Cup Thursday. It's moving on despite losing to Germany zero to one.

Bert's Pub was packed with soccer fans as they cheered for the red, white and blue. Team USA was able to advance because Portugal beat Ghana two to one.

A Yakima fan says he's excited for the next game.

"It's huge for USA coming where we have,” said Jason Clark. “Last world cup we moved on, but a young team coming up, it's just huge for U.S. soccer support."

The U.S. is playing against Belgium next week. If we lose, we're out of the competition.
