YAKIMA, Wash. -- A fundraiser in the Yakima Valley helped raise money for a camp that helps disabled kids and their families. More than 300 people showed up to support Camp Prime Time. Around $2,000 was raised. The Knights of Columbus sponsored this event and do it yearly for the camp.
”It's very good attendance,” said Camp Prime Time President Dick Haapala. “We're very pleased with the public response. A lot of people associated with church but a lot of people are just coming to support Camp Prime Time."
The camp sponsors a dozen fundraisers each year. Their goal is to raise $200,000 this year.
