TOPPENISH, Wash. -- Medical professionals throughout the Yakima Valley met at Heritage University Friday. The forum focused on providing better health care.
Heritage University's "Center for a New Washington" invited several local and state-level representatives, including some with previous experience in improving healthcare.
"They can look at and expect to see innovation," said Diane Patterson from Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. "And, how can we all work together to make sure that they have affordable health care and access to high quality healthy care in the Yakima valley."
Some representatives came from the Yakima Public Health District, Yakima Hearing and Speech Center and Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
