Yakima VFW Veterans Day Parade this weekend
YAKIMA, Wash. -- The Action News team is joining the community to honor veterans this weekend.
The VFW is hosting a parade in downtown Yakima. The parade starts at Naches & Yakima Ave. at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.
Military personnel, scout troops, bands, armored vehicles, veterans, car clubs and others will take part in the event.
With no disrespect intended to Veterans, ( I am one myself)  who is the "brain-trust" that scheduled the annual Veteran's Day Parade during once a week "church" time?? Options had to be available like Sunday afternoon or Saturday or Monday. Why create so many "family-time" conflicts that generates a diminished crowd to pay their respects to our veterans?
