Yakima Police: Man stabbed in the chest by in-law
YAKIMA, Wash. -- A Yakima man is being treated for a serious stab wound to the chest after police say he got into an argument with his brother-in-law.
It happened on the 1400 block of Roosevelt Avenue around 1 p.m.
Monday afternoon.
Detectives say 38-year-old Jose Calvario and his brother-in-law live in the same apartment and they got into an argument last night.
Neighbors say they see things like this more than they should.
"It was actually a little bit scary but I think people now get used tot his. My grandma, she's been here for 20-something year and it still scares her, it's alarming," said Giovanna Sierra, whose mother lives nearby.
Officers identified the suspect as 26-year-old Esteban Reyes. Detectives arrested him when he returned to the scene during the investigation.

Wow, That lady said that she is getting used to it. Such a small town but big city stuff. I pray that people don't get to used to it. Then they won't even call the police if they hear gun shots out side or cries for help. But truly this is why we have the right to carry a gun, and have a gun to protect are home and family.
