Yakima Arboretum to host 20th annual Luminaria

YAKIMA -- More than 1,000 candles will light up the Yakima Arboretum this weekend.
Volunteers spent the morning putting together luminaries for the walk by candlelight. It's the 20th anniversary of the event and organizers say this year's event is bigger than ever.
"Yeah we hope that you can make new discoveries," Yakima Arboretum Co-Executive Director Colleen Adams-Schuppe said. "It's truly a magical event. I call it a magical event because it's pretty spectacular to see that on a dark evening."
The free event includes live music, coffee and hot cocoa. It's Friday and Saturday night from 6-9 p.m.
