YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima Valley Community College is adding a four-year degree. Students will now be able to earn a bachelor's in business management.

It's the first bachelor's program at YVCC. Students will need a two-year degree before applying. Classes begin in the fall. They will be held in the evenings to cater to working adults.

Students are excited at the opportunity to further their education while staying at the same school.

"I think that it's super cool. I don't have to move anywhere, and it means I can continue with the same teachers, who are really, really awesome," said YVCC business student Shayla Wright.

YVCC will host informational sessions on the business management program over the next couple of weeks.
