YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima police tell KIMA four people were arrested Monday night in relation to a weekend kidnapping case.

YPD said it was Yakima's first-ever AMBER Alert case. Police said the four suspects were hiding out in Ellensburg. So far police have only identified one of them as Adrian Gatlin.

It all started Saturday night when police said a woman was robbed and beaten on South 9th Avenue.

Afterward, two children related to one of the suspects went missing.

The 3-year-old and 7-month-old were eventually found, and three people were arrested. But, police continued to search for Adrian Gatlin. They said he had something to do with the children's disappearance.

Monday evening, YPD's Gang Unit arrested Gatlin and three other suspects in Ellensburg.

Police said they face kidnapping and witness intimidation charges.

A judge set bail Tuesday for Gatlin at $500,000. He faces burglary, robbery, kidnapping and intimidation charges.

Police also arrested Guillermo Gomez who faces charges of kidnapping, burglary and intimidation. A judge set bail at $500,000 for him as well.

YAKIMA POLICE DEPARTMENT NEWS RELEASE-- On 6-15-13 at 3:45pm, Yakima Police Officers responded to the 700blk of S. 7th Ave. regarding a robbery that occurred in the 1000blk of S. 9th Ave between the hrs of 12:30-1:00am. Further investigation revealed the victim was walking with a friend in the 1000blk of S. 9th Ave when she was attacked by two adult females. Following the assault, one of the females stole the victim’s shoes and purse. When a nearby resident attempted to help the victim, a male suspect pointed a gun at the resident, and threatened to shoot them if they became involved. The 17 year old victim was familiar with her assailants and was initially reluctant to report the incident. She sustained minor injuries that consisted of scrapes and abrasions.

After contacting witnesses, officers located the two adult female suspects who were subsequently booked into the county jail on robbery charges. During the course of the investigation, officers learned the third suspect, 17 year old Adrian Gatlin, was the primary caretaker of one of the suspect’s children, 3 year old Elijah Janshen and 7 month old Deliiah Gatlin. Currently the whereabouts of the children are unknown, but were in Adrian Gatlin’s care. Gatlin was last seen with the children around 2pm on 6-15-13 and driving a white 2006 Nissan Altima WA/ALL0715. Gatlin does have gang ties and is believed to be armed and should be considered dangerous.
