YCSO looking for Outlook drive-by killer
OUTLOOK, Wash. -- Yakima County deputies are looking for a killer behind a drive-by shooting last night in Outlook. Three people were hit. One man is dead and a 7-year-old boy is hospitalized.

Nellie Kielstra never expected to hear gunshots next to her home on D-Street in Outlook. That's what happened Monday night. She thought it sounded like someone throwing away junk.

"We saw two people taken in an ambulance and then we saw another one taken in an ambulance," said Kielstra.

The shattered glass can be seen on the street. Deputies say two men were outside when someone drove by and started shooting. They were both hit along with a 7-year-old boy who was inside the house. 37-year-old Noel Yebras Cepeda died at Sunnyside Hospital.

"I cannot believe that the guy died," said Kielstra. "That's really sad."

The other adult is a 34-year-old man. He was released from Yakima Regional Medical Center Tuesday. The boy was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and is expected to be okay.

Kielstra says the family has been her neighbors for years. And, that the 7-year-old calls her grandma.

"They're really the nicest people that I know."

Deputies are trying to figure out who's behind the shooting and why. They don't know if it's gang-related and have not released the names of the other victims. They do say all three are related and lived together.
