Wheelchairs ready to be shipped to Yakima's sister city

YAKIMA-MORELIA SISTER CITY ASSOCIATION NEWS RELEASE -- The Yakima-Morelia Sister City Association is pleased to announce that December 7, 2011 at 5PM they will be sending 23 pallets of wheelchairs,walkers,supplies for the disabled, and fire fighting apparel to our Sister City Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico.
These items have been donated by a variety of local sources and were requested from the El Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia, DIF Morelia (a social services agency of the government in Morelia) after a delegation visit coordinated through Y-MSCA.
The truck will be loaded at the Tree Top loading dock located at: 209 East 5th Avenue Selah Wa. just off of of the new road; Clemmons Way.
The truck will be traveling to Laredo, Texas where the Morelia officials will take delivery at the International Bridge # 3 in Laredo Texas on Monday December 12, 2011.
The Y-MSCA would like to thank Tree Top for donating its loading dock and equipment and numerous other people who donated items and worked on this project.
