UNION GAP, Wash. -- Union Gap leaders are expected to approve an adopt-a-park program.

Those who sign up would help maintain one of Union Gap's four parks or Pioneer Cemetery. Activities include picking up litter, raking leaves and emptying barbecue grills.

The city suggests volunteering once a week. But, there's no minimum time commitment.
